Maharashtra government signs MOUs with seven companies for green hydrogen production

 



Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde signed MoUs for the Green Hydrogen Policy with seven companies, making Maharashtra the first state to promote green hydrogen. The investment amounts to Rs 2.76 lakh crore, involving seven major companies, and is expected to generate employment for 60,000-70,000 people. Shinde highlighted the state's industrial-friendly environment and the support from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing the availability of skilled manpower, land, and favorable policies, making Maharashtra an attractive destination for industries.
