Triveni Engineering and Industries Limited has reported improved performance in its Sugar & Alcohol (Distillery) Businesses for the current sugar season. The company noted a 6.7% increase in crushing, a 38 bps rise in net recovery, and a 10.9% growth in sugar production. Higher sugar realizations have positively impacted profitability. The Engineering Businesses have seen increased turnover and profitability in the power transmission sector. Triveni Engineering declared an Interim Dividend and announced plans to enter the premium segment of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL), setting up a bottling plant in Uttar Pradesh. The company's overall performance for the nine months ending December 31, 2023, has been satisfactory, according to Dhruv M. Sawhney, Chairman and Managing Director.
